The idea for this interview series came up due to the actual situation worldwide. But mostly to share the fantastic work of fashion photographers,
videographers, and creatives from all over the world.
It will give some insights into how they started or what keeps them inspired and motivated.

Introduce yourself shortly.
Hello, my name is Jahmar Amani. I am the creator and owner of Casa di Amani.
Tell us how you became a professional photographer.
Photography has always been a passion of mine. Still, after graduating college for fashion design, I quickly learned I wanted more,
so I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a photographer, I started by shooting in Night clubs at night in Miami.
Once I had enough of that, I was lucky enough to meet Jason Weston of Dirty Sugar photography,
who gave me a 1-year internship working in his studio in Brooklyn NY.
What inspires you?
My biggest inspiration is my Mother.
Whose work has influenced you the most?
Peter Lindbergh.
Describe your photographic style.
Clean

What is a big goal for you - career-wise?
To shoot a major cover like Vogue or shoot a campaign for a significant designer like Donatella Versace.
What do you like the most about being a photographer?
Being able to capture a moment in time and connecting with the individuals I shoot.

Cardi B, Kylie Jenner, Donatella Versace
What is the most challenging part of being a photographer?
The most challenging thing I've experienced is living in a city where ppl think photography is free.
How important is social media for your career?
It's a major part, allows me to showcase my work and connect with so many clients
that I probably would never be able to meet or work with If it wasn't for social media.
How has photography influenced you as a person?
Photography has helped me to gain confidence and self-love for me and my work
How did you develop your style?
By shooting non-stop and editing non-stop
What music do you listen to when you are editing pictures?
Mostly R&B and Pop. I like feel-good music when I'm editing.
What is the one thing you wish you knew when you started taking photos?
To not take so much time giving away my talent for FREE.
